One Eye Open
One Eye Open. By Colin Sandel and Carolyn VanEseltine.
What follows is a much longer and more detailed review than I have written for other games in this competition. My hope is that others will read this and reply. I am curious if others have similar feelings about this game. The following review contains mild spoilers, but does not reveal the solutions to any puzzles or give away the ending. I can't give away the ending. After three hours of play, I still haven't reached the end game.

16th annual IF Comp
Last year I was so disappointed with the first nine games I played that I don't even remember if I bothered to judge. The year before I entered a game in the competition, so I couldn't judge. This year looks more promising. I see many recognizable names among the authors. Two of the first three games I played were worth recommending. The third author admitted his game was unfinished, so I have only myself to blame for playing it. I'll post my reviews here.
